Zimbe! : Come Sing the Songs of Africa

For this summer we are planning a joint concert with the school choirs of Bromsgrove Prep School and Lickey End First School to deliver a performance of ‘Zimbe’ by Alexander L’Estrange.  This work was specifically composed for massed joint adult and children choirs and is a choral arrangement of traditional African songs in a modern jazz style. It has been described as “touching, moving, funky, and groovy - and at all times incredibly uplifting both for performers and audiences alike”. 

The concert, which will last 45 minutes, will be performed at 6.30pm in Routh Hall, Bromsgrove School, on Friday 19 June 2026.  Tickets, at £12.50, can be obtained on-line at the Bromsgrove School Box Office.
