WONDERFUL ARMED MAN PERFORMANCE AT THE ARTRIX THEATRE

Barnt Green Choral’s concert on 28 March 2026 was warmly received by a delighted audience. The Artrix Theatre was packed, and many congratulatory messages were received afterwards:

• “you really opened my eyes, or should I say ears! A fabulous programme of very different music fabulously sung”

• “the choir sailing over the orchestra with thrilling climaxes and moving quiet passages”

• “utterly captivating and deeply moving; congratulations for the innovative choice of programme”

Many had never heard Ola Gjeilo before, and now have become big fans. The Armed Man particularly ‘hit a nerve’, with one choir member saying “it was our best performance so far”.  Congratulations to everyone – the director of music, the orchestra, and all the singers.
